The holidays are almost here and the League of Women Voters of Chaffee County is ready to help with floral decorations.
The League’s annual
Poinsettia and Christmas Cactus Sale
begins Monday, November 7th and ends Saturday, Nov 19th.
All plants are pre-ordered. Pick up of pre-ordered plants is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd in either Buena Vista (Congregational United Church of Christ) or Salida (First Methodist Church). on Saturday, December 3rd.
Red or white poinsettias are available in small 6 ½” pots for $17.50 or large 8” pots for $32. Cactus in 6” pots are also available in red or white for $21 each. Orders of $50 or more will be delivered.
The sale proceeds help to fund the LWVCC programs and events that inform Chaffee County voters and empower democracy. “Each year, we so appreciate the community’s response to our annual floral sales and are excited to turn that support into informative and educational programs.” said LWVCC Leadership Chair Marji Gray.
