Featuring GENE FARRAR at Turner Farm, 6:00-8:00.
A native Texan, Gene has lived in Colorado for most of his life. He is a self-taught guitar player, with a repertoire spanning 6 decades. Sometimes described as Americana, his music includes country, folk, blues, and acoustic rock. Before moving to Buena Vista, Gene lived and worked in Colorado Springs, where he occasionally played in coffee houses, acoustic music venues, and public radio. After moving to BV, Gene performed weekends through the summer at Snow Peaks RV Park and occasional other BV events. He returned in 2019 from his second trip performing in England. Retired, Gene enjoys spending time immersed in music and pursuing other hobbies such as traveling and playing with big boy toys in the mountains.
