Throughout the year, Buena Vista Chamber coordinates a number of events for the local and regional business community. Any employee of a member business and members at the Community Level have access to these events. Members of the public may attend some programming for a small fee.

BV Community Coffee

Held the 1st Wednesday of each month, this event provides timely insights for the Buena Vista community featuring elected officials, community and business leaders. Each event is unique, but all events have the common goal of providing a space for communication – Communication between leaders and communication between leaders and our community.

The information and resources gained at these events help our businesses succeed and thrive.

Networking

The BV Chamber offers a variety of ways for people to network and connect with one another. From After Hours Mixers hosted by a local business to BV Connects luncheon, there is something for everyone looking to walk away with some curated connections. 

Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

We are pleased to introduce Central Mountain SBDC as the premier local source for consulting and training for entrepreneurs. They foster innovation and catalyze the economic potential of entrepreneurs in our region and are proud to serve at all stages of business from ideation to startup, expansion, acquisition and exit.

Chaffee County Economic Development Council (EDC)

We are pleased to announce our partnership with Chaffee County EDC, promoting the retention, expansion, and creation of jobs.

The recently launched business accelerator – Central Mountain Ascent –  Is an 8-week program powered by a world-class roster of mentors collectively made up of investors and serial entrepreneurs to seasoned ecosystem builders each aimed at empowering a new generation of dreamers, makers, and doers.

Nonprofit Resources

BV Chamber partners with Chaffee County Community Foundation, using philanthropy and collaboration to act as a catalyst to build a more connected and resilient Chaffee County.

This is a comprehensive resource for Buena Vista area non-profit organizations, providing trainings, data, and tools to sustain and grow their operations. CCCF provides on-going learning opportunities for your entire nonprofit organization.
