How is your business different?
Empower Yoga offers the unique and life changing practice of Power Yoga. In a heated and humid room, practitioners are better able to move, open up, and heal their bodies. Our teachings are rooted in the Baptiste Methodology called Journey into Power. This sequence of poses works for all body types, physical abilities, ages, etc. because it is not rigid and is adaptable to all students. We go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels confident and comfortable from the moment they step in our studio and on their mats. We do this in offering free community mat rentals, studio walk throughs, free towels (for sweating), hands on assisting during class, alignment cues to help deepen your yoga practice, free book clubs, and much more! We also offer a heavily discounted $6 drop-in community class as well as a monthly community pass for $35. Our goal is to help students grow physically and mentally, while discovering the inner power and potential of their life!

What would you like the community to know about you?
Co-owners Morgan and Michelle (mother-daughter team) created Empower Yoga to fulfill their yearning to teach heated power yoga and create community connection. They truly love being apart of and serving others in this small mountain town. Everything from free-class cards, to empowering workshops, donation based classes, welcoming smiles, pouring up free hot chocolate at the Christmas Opening, and more; they truly love all aspects of giving back. Empower Yoga is a labor of love and we look forward to sharing it with everyone!
What does your business do to support the community?
In the short time we have been operating in Buena Vista we have already donated our time, money, and energy to give back to this community. In October we offered 5+ free classes, including a free pizza party with fresh juice during our grand opening. in November we hosted a donation based class with Yoga Olas and raised $150 for the Boys and Girls Club. In December we participated in the BV christmas opening, hosting free power yoga classes, 2 free essential oil classes, a fun gift giveaway, a warm up station with free hot chocolate (4 gallons was gone in 10 minutes!) and passed out free class cards to anyone who stopped by for the chocolate walk. In addition, we gifted a 1-month unlimited yoga pass (valued at $89) to the elevateHER non-profit for their Dec.19th event. We so look forward to 2020 and continuing to support this community!
What does your Chamber membership mean to your business?
We love being apart of the Chamber because it means being apart of the community. It has given us access to connecting with so many people and business. This has given us the opportunity to collaborate with others, provide our services to more people, and give back in numerous ways. We love the Chamber and all the people who make it so special! Thank You
