National Forest Campgrounds are Cascade with 26 spaces off off CR 162; Mt. Princeton with 17 spaces off CR 162; Chalk Lake with 20 spaces and a STOCKED LAKE off of CR 162; and Collegiate Peaks with 56 spaces on CR 306. They all take 35 foot campers, outhouses, trash dump & water spout at a central locations. Sites cost $6-$12 per night and have fire grills and picnic tables. Tent and RV sites. Call toll free number or visit the website 10 days in advance to reserve. Cottonwood Lake Campground (25 spaces on CR 306) and Iron City Campground (17 spaces on CR 162) DO NOT take reservations. |
